Dear MR Community,
We hope this message finds you well! On behalf of all the organizers, we are excited to invite you to participate in the 2025 ASME SMRDC Student Mechanism & Robot Design Competition. This competition provides a fantastic opportunity for both undergraduate and graduate students to showcase their skills in designing and building innovative mechanisms or robots.
Here are the key dates to keep in mind:
- Letter of Intent Submission Window: April 15 – May 15, 2025
- Final Written Report Due: May 15, 2025
- Notification of Finalists: June 15, 2025
- Final Round: August 17, 2025 (at IDETC)
Finalists will receive travel stipend support, and the top three teams in each category will earn cash awards. Winners will also gain valuable exposure, network with industry professionals, and have the chance to present their designs at the 49th Annual Mechanisms & Robotics Conference (part of the ASME International Design Engineering Technical Conferences).
