Dear ASME MR Community,

We have exciting news for all prospective participants! To broaden participation and accommodate more teams, we are extending the submission deadlines for the 2025 ASME SMRDC Student Mechanism & Robot Design Competition:

Letter of Intent Submission Window: Now–June 1, 2025
Final Written Report Due: June 1, 2025
Notification of Finalists: June 25, 2025
Final Round: August 17, 2025 (at IDETC)

Remember that finalists receive travel stipend support, and the top three teams in each category will earn cash awards. Don’t miss this chance to showcase your innovative mechanism or robot design at the 49th Annual Mechanisms & Robotics Conference (part of IDETC), network with industry professionals, and gain valuable exposure.
