August 14 – 17, 2022 in St. Louis Missouri at the Union Station Hotel

Important dates

Letter of Intent:  due April 15, 2022, 11:59 PM EST

Final Written Report: due May 15, 2022, 11:59 PM EST

Notification of Finalists:  June 15, 2022, 11:59 PM EST

Final Round: August 14 – 17, 2022

The ASME SMRDC is an excellent opportunity for undergraduate and graduate

students to showcase their ability to design and build a mechanism or a

robot.

 

This competition consists of two rounds: in round one, student(s) submit a

report on their design, and in round two, several teams are invited to the

conference to present their design. Winners of the competition will be

recognized during the Mechanisms & Robotics conference and

presented with cash awards.

 

The competition is open to US, as well as international universities. Please

contact the organizing committee members below if you have any questions.
