Dear 2024 SHTC Topic Organizers/Co-Organizers and K-Committee Chairs/Co-chairs,

You may have received the email message below reminding you that the Heat Transfer Division will again extend financial support to students who participate in 2024 SHTC.  Please note that the student should apply for such support by March 22.  If the application is approved, ASME will then provide a code to the student that should be used when that student registers.

We encourage you to communicate this broadly to your colleagues.

ASME's Heat Transfer Division is pleased to announce last year's offer to all ASME student members to support and broaden participation in the Summer Heat Transfer Conference.

Upon review and approval by the conference committee, you will receive a code that will apply a $260 discount at the time of registration, net registration fee for members would be $90.

Please note, this discount does not count towards meeting the full registration rate requirement for final paper submission. For each Technical Publication and Technical Presentation, a minimum of one author must have a paid registration at the Full Conference Author rate. Student rates do not apply.

To qualify, students must be ASME student members. An official school I.D. will be required when you pick up your badge at the conference. Submission Deadline is March 22, 2024.

If you are not a an ASME student member, the cost is only $25 for one year and there are many benefits, including a one year subscription to Mechanical Engineering Magazine. Simply visit here.

Once your membership is confirmed, please apply for the student registration discount using the application link below:

We look forward to your participation and to welcoming you to the conference and to Anaheim, CA!

- Heat Transfer Division
