Future Plans for Newsletter

    This year we are planning to shift our focus from organizing events to participating in the events. We will be having a division in our team whose purpose will be to ensure participation of our team in various competitions across the nation. We would be participating in SPDC, IIT Bombay's Technical festival, Techkriti, SRISHTI, Cognizance, etc. And as the opportunities for the 1^st year students to learn about robotics are very less in the campus, this team will also be working for providing opportunities to them to learn by working with us, by providing mentorship and by organizing lectures. We also plan to undertake a related project so that more students would get a better platform to learn practically.

    This year we also plan to organize a small fest of ASME as mini-SPDC in which we will be having few technical competitions, guest lectures and workshops. It would be of a period of about 2 to 3 days. So that it would create awareness among the students about ASME and various opportunities it provides. It would also give the students another platform to compete and prove their talents.

Jairaj,

   Fantastic. Just one suggestion. Do not keep yourself restricted to national events.
Try to search the international competition, the one like SDC. Because it requires minimum investment and huge award money.  You just need to look for probable events.
