We are proud to announce that the Leadership Training Conference 2013 will be held at B.H. Gardi College of Engineering and Technology, Rajkot, Gujarat on the 20th of July, 2013. Two student officers from each student section is welcome to attend this conference. 

“If you can only attend one leadership conference during the year, make this the one…and reward yourself with valuable information enhancing your professional and volunteer leadership skills.”

The LTC provides ASME’s volunteers with leadership training, essential information for key unit and committee members and networking opportunities with peers.

LTC Will Provide You:

• Leadership skills training to help you succeed professionally and in your volunteer position
• Networking opportunities with other volunteer leaders and ASME staff
• An overview of the Society’s organization and key initiatives and resources
• Idea Mart – a mini-expo that gives you the opportunity to speak with key staff and volunteers, and learn more about the latest programs and initiatives going on at  ASME
• An opportunity to share ideas and best practices with your peers

Attending Will Help You To:

• Bring innovative ideas back to your workplace
• Enhance your leadership skills
• Improve communication and project management skills

Also, at LTC 2013, the SDOB would have a detailed meeting to plan the activities for the next year at ASME India. It serves as the first ever General Body Meeting for Student Sections in the country.

The ASME SDOB India is providing transport for those interested to turn up for the conference on a reimbursement basis. For e.g. if two students from Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology are interested to be a part of this program then they will have to book their tickets to rajkot and back and then, that ticket fare would be reimbursed while at LTC itself.
