RPS Physical Testing

Do the physical testing results need to be included in the design report? The reason I ask is that on page 15 of the rules, it states that "In order to participate in the
competition, all RPS structural components (including the continuous hoop) must be physically tested or analyzed according to the top & side load requirements described below, and the results need to be presented in the design report and the presentation." While on page 26 it states that "RPS and Performance Testing results will be presented during the presentations and not in the design report". 
These two statements seem to contradict each other, and I was wondering which one we should follow.

The rules do contradict themselves. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. In the past many teams have not completed the testing of their RPS system by the time reports are due. In the past, the judges at HPVC East have awarded points for the RPS test as long as the procedure and results were presented in either the report or design presentation. Due to the contradiction in the rules, we will continue to award those points to teams as long as the RPS test is either the design report or the presentation.
