Is the motor capacity of 500 Watts the nominal voltage of the motor or is it the peak voltage of the motor?

This is an recomendation of one of our committee members: " ask the teams to put a 10A Fuse in their circuit. By that way, the motor that exceeds 10A Current will shut down automatically."
