My team and I are starting to build the drivetrain of our bike and would like to know the following.
We have a hub integrated motor and were wondering if during the endurance race if we are able swap  a regular chain driven wheel with the same cassette gears and all during the race if we encounter a electrical/motor failure. or does this go against section III c of the rules.

The second question we have is in regards to the required lighting for low light racing. We would like to know if the lights can be stand alone lights that are turned on individually by hand or if they need to be integrated into a circuit that can be switch on/off by the driver in the cockpit.

Hi Jacob
As per rulebook secion III-C the vehicles must retain their main frame and drivetrain configuration (electric drivetrain).
If however, the team decides to change any part of main frame or drivetrain during the event, they will be allowed to compete only after completing the safety inspection for the changes made, also any scores awarded for the respective (original) design will not be credited to the team.

Both standalone and integrated lights are allowed and can be chosen as per the teams discretion.
