Wednesday, July 1, 10 am - 12 pm, DHH Summer Play Group at MK Nature Center & Municipal Park, 600 S. Walnut, Boise, ID. Meet at the entrance to the Nature Center building at 10:00. Thursday- Sunday, July 9-12, TVBAD 4th Annual Rafting/Camping at Riggins, ID.  We, TVBAD (Treasure Valley Bowling Association of the Deaf ) (formerly BSCD) are hosting again for the 4th time!!  Rafting will be all day on 11th of July from 9 am to 4 pm including lunch time which they provide. Tickets had to be prepaid by June 3rd. Camp site is free. Anyone not rafting is welcome to come and hang around for free. Camp site is on Salmon River Rd. On rafting day, you can bring any drinks of ur own on raft and also can bring ur own water guns to squirt each other on other rafts. FUN huh?? We will make signs where we locate at. Few of us will be going there early than 9th to grab the spot. You are welcome to come early. We recommend to bring canopy which will help. For food... you will need to provide your own food. Rafting time (they provide food for lunch time which already included the price u pay) On Sat night, we will have potluck for everyone to share and you bring side dishes to share. (We will let u know what main course we will provide two weeks before rafting). Also we will have storytelling/games for everyone to enjoy and listen or laughters. FYI.... anyone who have back injury will not be permit to be on raft for their safety rules. Have any questions pls contact Rachael.. Saturday, July 11, 12 - 6 pm, BVAD 5th Annual Independence Day BBQ at 782 S McDermott Rd, Nampa, ID. (This year the 4th of July falls on a Saturday so we are hosting it on the Saturday the 11th) FREE for members, $5 - non members. Hamburgers / hotdogs, beverages, snacks for sale.
