Celebrating 10 Years—Deaf Studies Today! 
What started out as an idea to have an academic talk along with the national Deaf Basketball Tournament held here at UVU in 2004 has turned into a conference that is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. 
It's time to get ready for Deaf Studies Today! 2014 April 10-12 at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.  Check it out at http://www.deafstudies.org/.

The lineup of keynote speakers is great:

Carol Padden—University of San Diego
Tom Humphries—University of San Diego
Beth Benedict—Gallaudet University

Ben Bahan is also headlining a unique 'Presentation Performance' entitled "Bleeva: A narrative of our existence" that you won't want to miss. (See the attached flyer.)

Proposals for Presentations are being accepted right now. You can do it online and you need only a short abstract. Please share your research and thinking with the leaders in the field at this conference. 

Registration for the conference has been totally revamped and it available now! It's online and simple, without all of the information that used to be required.
