IAD Friends & Supporters!!

Have a safe Independence Day & 4th of July!!  If you or your friends or family would like to continue and get monthly emails and announcements like this, please join IAD by going to http://www.idahodeaf.org/ then click on the Members tab. IAD Membership is only $10 a year until our next biennial conference in August 2017. To see future events, click on the Events tab to find the Deaf Community Calendar.  Due to a survey in the Idaho Deaf Community group on Facebook, our calendar has now added an abbreviation of cities at the beginning of event titles such as (Boi), (Merdn), (Nampa), (TwinF), (CDA), (Blkft), etc.  In the list of events below, I assigned Color fonts for different regions of Idaho to make it easier for you to skim through: NationalEast IdahoTreasure ValleyNorth IdahoMagic Valley, Other.  If you have other events that you want announced not listed below or on the calendar, please email secr...@idahodeaf.org and we will send them out for you.

Many thanks to all who signed up for Walk4ASL 2016 committees during our Meet & Greet events in Pocatello, Idaho Falls, and Meridian since Memorial Day weekend.  We will share more details on Walk4ASL in another email.  Blaze Pizza fundraiser in Meridian had a great turn-out, we will continue our restaurant fundraisers in August.

We are still collecting shoe donations for the Cash4Shooz fundraiser, there is now a drop-off location at Living Independence Network Corporation (LINC) office, 1878 W Overland Road, near Federal Way in Boise, you can find a white barrel to drop off shoes near the front desk, please share https://youtu.be/TYOpO_AUbzM and flyer.  You can also donate to the Deaf Center or Deaf Youth fund, we have different options to donate: go to our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Idaho-Association-of-the-Deaf-266548853371582/?fref=ts and click on the Donate Now button next to the Like button, scroll down http://www.idahodeaf.org/ home page and click on the yellow Donate button through PayPal, mail a check to our IAD treasurer Kristi Dorris at 1602 W Gaines Ct, Nampa, ID 83686, or give cash to one of our board members (please include a comment what the donation is for).
