Cash4Shooz- Idaho Association of the Deaf Fundraiser! Spread the word! Share with everyone you know!! ASL Video: https://www.facebook.com/266548853371582/videos/1329757123717411/ Abridged transcript: Hello Idaho! The IAD is doing a fundraiser connected to a program called Cash4Shooz. This program collects shoes for third-world countries and improverished communities. This is a huge opportunity for us to raise anywhere between $4,000 to $10,000! To start with, we need to gather shoes. ANY shoes are welcome. We must collect a minimum of 10 thousand pounds of shoes before the company will come pick them up. There are some basic rules: NO winter boots. NO rain boots. WORK boots are ok. Any other type of shoe is acceptable. The shoes must be in good shape, wearable, and must not have any holes or tears. The soles should be in good shape. The shoes should be reasonably clean. ANY shoe is welcome--donate your old and/or unwanted shoes! Bring them to any IAD officer or any member that is willing to meet up with an officer. The shoes will be stored until we have 10 thousand pounds of shoes, then we will have the company come pick them up! You can also help with the fundraiser by donating your time--the shoes must be bound together with rubber bands and stacked in plastic bags for pick up (no boxes). Tip: with spring and summer coming up, we will see a lot of yard and garage sales. Stop by at the sales and ask them to donate all of the shoes they have for sale to our fundraiser. For the first round, all of the money earned will go toward the Deaf Center fund. If we succeed and want to continue, the second round will raise money for other programs, such as the youth program. Spread the word!!!!!
Question from student, Do they have to have shoe laces? Good shoes but took out the shoe laces for another shoe.
