Hi Prof. WangZe

I was able to successfully run BENtbx and I was wondering what the out\puts file were: for example if my subject ID is 108 I have
- 108_BEN_Composite_D3_r0.200000.nii
- sw108_BEN_Composite_D3_r0.200000.nii
- w108_BEN_Composite_D3_r0.200000.nii

in particular which of the 3 Composite files would you use for the group analysis? [I also have S0_D3 and S1_D3 files but I read on a previous post you were choosing the Composite for the analysis].

Thank you

For short time series, I would use S0_xx map (swS0_xxx for group level analysis). S0 means no scaling. S1 means subsampled by 2. Composite is the sum of S0, S1, and S2 etc.  The reason for only using S0 for short time series is due to the stability issue when the time series is further shortened by subsampling (the so-called coarse graining).

Thank you

Not sure whether I answered this or not. But the answer is using the one named by S0_.  I can't update the scripts in my old webpage so the confusion is still there.  A new version is available in https://github.com/zewangnew/BENtbx/ which can take the nii or nii.gz image as the input.
