McElhenney, who turned 46 on Friday, was greeted on Twitter with a spirited birthday song from his best bud and Wrexham AFC co-owner Ryan Reynolds. A simple "happy birthday" would have sufficed, but Reynolds opted to go big with an Irish-style jig about how to pronounce McElhenney's last name.

Reynolds has a pretty charming voice. He once appeared on the South Korean singing competition show "King of Masked Singer" and admirably performed "Tomorrow" from the musical "Annie." The birthday song may have been made as much for Reynolds' own enjoyment as it was to amuse McElhenney.

As it turns out, McElhenney's "Always Sunny" co-star Glenn Howerton turned 47 on Thursday. McElhenney got outclassed by Reynolds in the birthday wish department, but the picture he shared of Howerton evens it out.

"The Birthday Song," as the name suggests, is an original birthday song from The Sunny Side Up Show and an alternative to the traditional "Happy Birthday to You" song. It was introduced in 2007 alongside Sunny, and was shown before Sproutlet birthdays as well as the Today's Birthdays segments. The song was also performed by the hosts in birthday videos sent to children on SproutOnline.com.

In 2015, for Sprout's tenth anniversary rebrand and Sunny Side Up's move to the city, the song was given a pop style and included clips of shows and footage of Sproutlets, as well as new lyrics. The song has often been sung by celebrity guests, including Michelle Obama and the students of New York School for the Deaf.

When he was 16, he joined a hip-hop group as a producer and was also producing mixtapes for other local artists. In 2011, YC used one of his beats for the single "Racks", which went to become a national hit, peaking at #42 on the Billboard Hot 100[8] and being certified Gold by RIAA. The song was also featured in the Billboard 2011 Year-end Rap songs and R&B/Hip-hop songs charts.[9][10]

Sonny released his first official mixtape Digital History on May 9, 2011. The tape, hosted by DJ 1Hunnit, is a collection of songs Sonny had produced between 2010 and 2011. It features many rappers, such as Plies, Wale, 2 Chainz and Future. It has been viewed over 70,000 times on LiveMixtapes.[11]

Sonny produced six songs on Gorilla Zoe's album King Kong released in June. Sonny's second mixtape Behind the Muzik was released on September 8, 2011. It is a collaboration with fellow producer Will A Fool, where each produced half of the songs.[12]

In late 2011, Sonny produced Future's hit single "Same Damn Time", which was initially featured on Future's mixtape Streetz Calling. Following the song's success, in 2012 Future released a new version of "Same Damn Time" as the third official single from his debut album Pluto. It peaked at number 92 on the Billboard Hot 100.[13] A music video for the single was released on April 4, 2012. Sonny Digital also produced the official remix of "Same Damn Time" featuring rappers Diddy and Ludacris, which was released on May 17, 2012. The remix was featured on Future's re-release of Pluto, titled Pluto 3D.[14]

In March 2012, Sonny produced Gorilla Zoe's mixtape Gorilla Zoe World. The tape was certified bronze for being downloaded over 25,000 times on popular mixtape site DatPiff.[15] In early 2012 Sonny also worked on Gucci Mane's mixtapes Trap Back and I'm Up. On June 8, 2012, Sonny Digital released his debut rap single, "Business Man", featuring rapper Que. The song was produced by BWheezy.[16][17]

What would birthdays be without cakes! We took the risk of not pre-ordering and was quite horrified when we could not find the flavor we intended to buy from prima deli! ? luckily there was still Bakerzin strawberry shortcake with star appearance by Thomas train. ?

The celebration was a simple dinner at Ichiban Boshi @ Vivocity Basement 1. The manager gave an extra special suprise- two complimentary green tea ice-cream for the birthday girl! The staff also suprised the birthday girl with a polaroid picture and impromtu birthday card. Thumbs up for the special service.

As used in two Sonny With a Chance episodes, Chad sang a song he 'wrote'. He first writes the song for Dakota Condor in "Dakota's Revenge" for her 'Wow Me' birthday party. He sings the song for a second time in "New Girl" when he sees Sonny's guitar in her apartment.

DT: Do you just have a gift for entertaining kids? Or is that something you had to develop?
CC: I was greatly served by my time at Bubble Academy. I think I understand how to talk to our audience. I had no learning curve off the bat, but I learned it there and when I was performing songs at Whole Foods, so little things like that. But this show is so specific and unique, definitely its own beast, and I learned a lot that first, transformative year. Now I feel really confident with my point of view as a host of the show, and as a writer. There definitely was a process of figuring that out, but Sprout does a great job of training me, and taking the skills I already had and applying them to this particular job.

This is the moment Wrexham fans burst into song chanting Rob McElhenney's now famous birthday song as the man himself claps along just feet away. The Dragons co-owner was visibly all smiles in the footage, which was filmed in the build-up to his side's National League clash against Yeovil Town FC on Tuesday night.

North Wales Live previously reported how Ryan Reynolds posted a hilarious video message on Twitter last Friday morning to mark McElhenney's 46th birthday. Wrexham AFC co-chairmen McElhenney and Reynolds often poke fun at each other on social media and the It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia star's latest 'gift' from Deadpool actor Reynolds last week was no different.

In the two-minute video, which you can watch below (warning: contains some bad language), Ryan sings a song poking fun at the fact that many people seemingly struggle to pronounce Rob's name. The video features well-known faces from Rob's long-running hit sitcom It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia as well as several Wrexham fans at the Racecourse and in the iconic Turf pub.

Ryan is then joined in chorus by several others from both sides of the Atlantic. That video took the internet by storm and has since racked up millions of views online (and to be fair, it's way better than the Racecourse urinal that Reynolds got McElhenney for his last birthday).

And if you thought that was the end of it - you were very wrong. Moments before Wrexham took on Yeovil earlier this evening, that now iconic song came booming over the audio system at the Racecourse - much to the delight of Wrexham's faithful fanbase who began singing the song word-for-word at the top of their lungs and clapping.

McElhenney can be seen smiling in the clip before clapping and singing-along with the crowd. As the song reaches its famous 'it's McElhenney...McElhenney' chorus, the Fargo and Mythic Quest actor can even be seen shooting a beaming grin at one section of the crowd as his surname is announced.

Later, she took to social media to extend her birthday wishes.advertisementKATRINA'S WISHES FOR 'BEST DEVAR' SUNNY KAUSHALKatrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal shared posts to wish Sunny Kaushal on his birthday. The 'Tiger 3' actress took to her Instagram stories to wish the birthday boy. She shared a picture of Sunny and Vicky from her wedding. Alongwith the pictures, she wrote, "Happy Birthday to the best devar (sic)." For the unversed, 'devar' is the Hindi word for brother-in-law.

Sunny Kaushal's new song 'Jhandey' was released on the occasion of his birthday. The Punjabi hip-hop rap number is written and sung by the 'Shiddat' actor, himself. He has collaborated with popular musician Bharg Kale, who produced the track.
