Confused

[Closer to the end]

Just joined your group. But being an old-timer, I'm a bit confused on
how it works. How do I distinguish between the question and the
answer? If this question disqualifies me (too stupid), so be it.
Please explain the process and the format.

Hi (and welcome!)

in principle, answers to a post should automatically show up under the
same topic, so if you "drill down" the sequence of tabs you should be
able to follow the thread and the discussion. However, I must admit
this has not always worked as it is supposed to, hence perhaps your
confusion. In particular, I've recently posted a few answers which
seem to have been swallowed by a black hole and which never appeared
where they should. I'll try to catch up with the many outstanding
questions as soon as I can.
