file , but in show parameter large_pool_size it shows as

SQL> show parameter large_pool_size

large_pool_size big integer 58720256

You must be using SPFILE.

create pfile from spfile....
check the value...

Hi
spfile is not being used.

when 'create pfile from spfiles' is issued, it gives

SQL> CREATE PFILE FROM SPFILE;
CREATE PFILE FROM SPFILE
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-27041: unable to open file
OSD-04002: unable to open file
O/S-Error: (OS 2) The system cannot find the file specified.
