Hi,

I am new to iphone development and I am working on app that requires
to talk with web server.

I came across this lib and thought It will be greatly helpful.

BUT I see NOTE on this page : http://allseeing-i.com/ASIHTTPRequest/
- "Please note that I am no longer working on this library - you may
want to consider using something else for new projects. :)"

is this lib abandoned ? how this is kept upto date ? If it is not kept
upto date - "sorry if this is not a proper question" - why support is
abandoned ?

are there any good alternatives ?

ASI is quite huge, you can use AFNetworking.
