Adaptive Services Interest Group DC
Welcome to the Adaptive Services Interest Group DC. This
group is a gathering of AT professionals from Library Systems, University and
Colleges in DC, VA and MD areas. The presence of this group is to have events
and general meet-ups to talk about AT experiences and knowledge with other
fellow professionals. The group rotates between libraries and post-secondary
settings in order to showcase their space to give opportunities for each of us
all to see how one operates in their space and the community who uses the services.
Although we primarily host the events in either the libraries or
University/College locations, we are also open to hosting the space in other
locations as well. The events and meet-ups are organized seasonally, at best. We
will be sending out messages about any upcoming meetings to the group on this
list.
ASIG-DC strongly encourages members to post job opportunities, conference &
event information and AT and technology news.
