Hi,
For the fourth meet, we thought of finishing off the third paper and
some other things. These are the things that come to my mind, that I
think should be addressed formally:

1.Journalling
2.Soft updates
3.Clustering
4.Logging

Clustering and logging are compared in the paper so that will be
done.I will finish off the paper by saturday and can talk about it.If
anybody else wants to take it up.Just say so, you are most
welcome.Further, should we take up extended file systems, ext2 and
ext3 separately or as a continuation of FFS because ext was basically
an extension of UFS afaik? We could start on ext when we discuss
journalling. If any other things come to your mind, that we could
discuss , do put them up on the list.

@Ramakrishna: Could you share the ffs video on dc ?

Regards
Ambarish

Today at 8:00PM( in a half). We'll try to discuss LFS and
clustering. If time permits we could move on to journalling.

Just struck my mind seeing this time, it is 7:47 pm right now (even Google Says it: Search "Time" in google) But Gmail shows 7:27 for your mail.
Any good reason why gmail and google timings are unsynchronized?

Tapan

PS: I tried on both domains (google.co.in and google.com)

I don't think it is unsynchronized. It just took some time for my mail
to reach you.(Delivery delay or sort) because I sent the mail at 7:27.
So It must have recorded the time then and showing it to you now. What
say ??
