Hello all,

Some of the MEites sent the following mail to ASIG Coordinators. They would like to contribute, we also discussed with them and will start the hands-on sessions from next week on wards.

Previous mail on Multicore Threading GCC(Posted Astha Mehta) can be used for practical implementation of "Multicore Architecture" topic proposed in the below info.

Expecting Inputs !!

Hi team,

We are planning to start a ARCHITECTURE AND SYSTEMS SIG, wherein we would be discussing some current areas of Architecture and Operating Systems. This initiative is already taken by CSA and they made a good progress last sem. So I think we can also take up this and people interested in these areas can participate.

Topics for this sem are roughly:
Architecture : Multicore architecture.
Systems: Linux Internals

Please propose some topics so that we can choose best ones.

Hey Ramakrishna bhaiya,

Could you please ask the people taking the talks on Linux System kernels to upload a few material before taking their first session. Might help.
