Important Hearing To Protect Artists & Creators with the CA Legislature |
|
Thank you for supporting AB-412 (the AI Copyright Transparency Act)! Because we had such a broad and diverse coalition of support, the CA legislature has granted us a special legislative hearing on this matter.
The hearing will be held in the heart of Silicon Valley. We want as large a turnout for the creative industries as we can get. Transparency for GenAI models affects us all. If we show up en masse for one another, even as the hearing is held right in Big Tech's backyard, the need for this bill will be undeniable. WE NEED YOU!

SHORT FILM OF THE MONTH: LETTER TO A PIG |
|
RATED PG-13 Letter to a Pig is inspired by a memory from Tal Kantor’s school days, when a Holocaust survivor visited her class and shared his story, sparking a vivid dream that stayed with her. The film explores memory, trauma, and intergenerational transmission through a distinctive blend of live-action footage, hand-drawn animation, and acrylic paint on paper. Its monochrome palette reflects the weight of remembrance, while touches of pink evoke emotion and inheritance. Through this intimate visual language, the film invites viewers to reflect on how we remember and what traces of trauma we pass on.
