ASIFA Figure Drawing- first class of the year next week!

Howdy, figure drawing folk,

It’s our first class of the new year- come on out!

It’s sign up time for the monthly ASIFA Figure Drawing Class: Thursday, January 15th, 2025.

The class is run by myself and Matthew Bagshaw. He is the Piedmont Park Green Market Manager, and runs several programs through the Piedmont Park Conservancy. 

Location: 

Piedmont Park Community Center building, 1071 Piedmont Ave. 

There is parking behind the building, but it fills up fast on nice days (folks going to the park). There is paid parking at the Botanical Gardens down Piedmont, or across the street from the park. Give yourself extra time to find a spot! 

Pro tip- get there early and eat at Willy’s or in the park. Then stroll over to the class!

The class is from 7-9pm. We run it pretty much like before- lots of quick action poses for fast gesture drawing, with a few longer poses at the end (10/15/20 minutes). Feel free to bring your easels.
