Ishq Vishk Rebound is Rohit's first in the lead role but the actor said that he has never approached a film from the mindset that it completely belongs to him. Speaking with news agency PTI, he had said, "I don't look at a film and say this is completely my film. I don't think I have that approach because to be able to say that it is my film, I would have to do everything on my own. I would have to direct it, produce it, act in all parts and then call it my film."
Chandu Champion showed a good trend in its second weekend dropping 35% from the first weekend as it collected around 13 crore nett and this takes the film to 48 crore nett in ten days. But the problem is the first week pretty much sealed the fate of the film as barring some multiplexes of the big centres the appreciation is not there.
Despite this hold the second week is still looking to be below films like Crew and Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Ulljha Jiyo so overall collections are not really going anywhere. There have been films like Laapata Ladies, Madgaon Express and Swatantrya Veer Savarkar which looked FLOPS after the initial weeks but managed to survive and go a little higher.
But that was because it was an open field an no films were coming and these films continued adding week after week but here it is a bit different as July has many releases and the first one Kalki 2898 AD looks to be taking a good opening.
