Hi everyone,

How is the research/writing coming? 

We couldn't agree on a time for everyone to meet before Thursday, so perhaps we can meet on Thursday, share our material, agree on changes that must be made, and then either meet on Friday/weekend, or e-mail each other our respective parts for editing.

If everyone could check in by replying to this e-mail or sending a mass e-mail, that would be great.

Flora and I will be done our part by Tuesday night and sending it those who need it to complete their own.

when would it be convenient for everyone to meet?
as kyla said, we'll be done the description by tuesday, and we'll
email it to you guys, and maybe those of us that are done could start
to work on those other paragrahs, like the summary or the problem
investigation. obviously we need to have the report largely completed
before we finish those, but we could at least get a head start and
work on those. let me know if you'll be able to help out with those.

as for meeting, i could meet during the day on thursday (or even
sometime wednesday if some people can) between 11:00 and 3:30, or at
some point on friday morning, but i'm not sure if i'll be around on
the weekend. i could stick around if we really need to get something
done, but if we can't get together then i'm free on next monday,
tuesday and wednesday, afternoon and evening.

post up here when you can meet so we can start to figure it out!

Hey Girls,

I think that meeting on the weekend or into next week would be ideal,
as I am trying to juggle a very important Latin midterm and to finish
the PBL this week; neither of which I want to rush unnecessarily. So
I would say that ideally a meeting would take place on Monday (Flora
this sounds better for you) and that we can email our individual
segments to each other (when complete) before then. This should leave
ample time to fit our material together and polish it up before the
deadline.

Wait...so that still means we'll have our parts by tmr night, correct? If someone sends me the stuff tmr, I can probably finish the budget by Wednesday, and send it to all you guys to review and to suggest changes. Would that be cool?

As for Monday, I am up for a meeting. Where and what time?

For those who live in Gage, there will be a pancake breakfast from 9 - 11 am on Sunday, March 9th. ^_^ Free pancakes woot!

I think it would be most productive if everyone has their part ready
for discussion/sharing by class on Thursday, as suggested at our last
meeting.
We agreed that Karen and Jovi would need the 500 words that Flora and
I are writing, so we will get that out on Tuesday night. Other than
that, we need to have a preliminary edit done on Thursday night so
that when we meet next week we have made our necessary individual
changes and are ready for final polishing/finishing the summary.
I think most people are battling with paper deadlines and midterms, so
let's make the most of our class time on Thursday by having our parts
completed.

I can meet on Thursday anytime between 9:30 -2:00 or Monday works too,
before 1:00 or after 3:00

so kyla and i will finish the description tonight, email it to
everyone, and then hopefully everyone can finish their assigned parts
for thursday. i have a break on thursday between 11:00 and 3:30, or we
could meet right after ASIC for half an hour or so if we don't get any
time on thursday?

i really think we should try to have at least everyone's outlines of
their parts by thursday, so that we can put it all together, and
summarize what we have in order to do the second part.

also, i will be here this weekend, how does sunday sound for everyone?
obviously no one wants to get together on the weekend, so if we do our
parts beforehand then we'll only have to fix up all the details
together and not spend too long on it.

I think we will have some time in class on Thursday, but I may be
wrong. I am free before 11am or after 2pm. It looks like everyone is
free at different times, so the idea of meeting after class briefly
sounds good to me. We can identify problems that need to be fixed
(eg. citation style...we forgot to choose one), fix them on our own,
and meet again on the weekend to put together the final product.

Meeting after class is fine for me, I won't be able to make it on the
weekend, but I can send my part and do editing for others. I finished
my research for fundraising, I was unable to write the paragraph
tonight, but will sure have it done by tomorrow.
