PAREB commends HLURB for their firm and aggressive actions against illegal brokers and illegal development projects. Please find attached THREE sample notices of violations HLURB sent to illegal brokers and illegal projects in Southern Mindanao.
FIRST, we would like to remind our PAREB members to be extra careful in your selling activities and ensure your office staff and sales team:
DO NOT post any development projects without HLURB License to Sell number
DO NOT post any project without PRC License and HLURB Certificate numbers
DO NOT post any amortization amount in the sales pitch
DO post the amount of unit in cases of socialized housing projects
DO indicate in your post if the images are just architect’s/artist’s renderings
DO NOT sell or post any housing projects if PRC or HLURB licenses are expired
SECONDLY, we enjoin all PAREB local boards and members to work closely with your local HLURB by vigilantly monitoring and reporting illegal development projects and illegal selling activities. HLURB acts on written reports with supporting evidence such as sample flyers, brochures and screenshots of illegal FB/social media posts.
