Attention: All PAREBians!

The Philippine Association of Real Estate of Boards,  the oldest and largest  organization of real estate professionals in the country will launch an aggressive, intensive and nationwide campaign, the Beware of Illegal Brokers (BOIB) Project, to warn the public about the dangers of transacting with “colorum” brokers.

This project is in partnership with the Professional Regulations Commissions (PRC),  Philippine Regulatory Board for Real Estate Services (PRBRES), HLURB and PNP to ensure the strict implementation of Republic Act 9646 or the Real Estate Services Act (RESA) Law.   This campaign will be conducted nationwide thru our very active and vigilant local PAREB boards.

In this connection, we are requesting all our vigilant members to send us the local developers in your area. We will first send letters reminding them of the common practices that are violative of the RESA law:

  1. Allowing unlicensed brokers or unaccredited salespersons to sell properties

  2. Sharing of commission of licensed brokers with unaccredited salespersons

  3. Posting for sale of real estate properties without indicating the REB license

Please emails us the names of the local developers and their owners/manager's name and contact details to pres...@pareb.org.ph or parebpr...@gmail.com

We look forward to your active support in policing and strenthening the integrity of our profession. For questions and suggestions, you can get in touch with the BOIB project heads thru the webmail pres...@pareb.org.ph or parebpr...@gmail.com.

Sincerely yours,
