ANNOUNCEMENT TO ALL LOCAL BOARD OFFICERS
Dear Local Board Officers:
This year PAREB will launch an aggressive, comprehensive nationwide campaign, to warn the public about the dangers of transacting with “colorum” brokers. This advocacy is in partnership with the PRC, PRBRES, HLURB and PNP to ensure the strict implementation of Republic Act 9646 or the Real Estate Services Act (RESA) Law in the country.
In line with our nationwide campaign, the 2018 National Directorate encourages all local boards to:
(1) conduct an aggressive quad media campaign warning public against colorum brokers and illegal real estate transactions;
(2) coordinate with local regulators to introduce PAREB and enlist their support in enforcing the RESA Law;
(3) write to local developers to remind them of the common practices that are violative of the RESA law
(4) conduct many Real Estate Salespersons accreditation trainings and recruit them to PAREB.
