Concerned with problems that have a direct and important effect on business programs and results. • State-of-the-art knowledge of technologies, processes, and practices. • Flexibility in working schedule to accommodate U.S. based timezones and work schedules. • Typically requires a high school diploma or advanced degree in a technical field and 7-10 years experience in related field. Cisco certifications strongly preferred. • Technologies required: Subnetting, Routing, Switching, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, VPN, Firewall, Security • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions • Serves as a project manager, with day-to-day responsibility for ensuring that the clients achieve quality products and timely services • May direct large, routine projects with significant impact • Operates with considerable latitude. May develop solutions (server batch scripts, etc.) to non-routine issues, without appreciable guidance from others • Reaches decisions under conditions of uncertainty • Errors in judgment or failure to achieve objectives would result in significant project delays and significant expenditure of resources to rectify • Uses judgment and discretion to determine work priorities, receiving little instruction from others. • Linux and Windows System Administration experience with the following service areas: Design and Implementation of LAN/WAN Networks Routing and Switching Computer Hardware/Network Troubleshooting Linux Server Administration (Redhat, CentOS, Ubuntu) MySQL Database Setup / Installation / Replication Setup & Experience DNS, DHCP, FTP, SSH Apache Samba Sendmail, Postfix, Dovecot SVN Squid Proxy Shell Scripting Windows Server Administration (2003/2008) Sharepoint Services Active Directory Internet Information Sever Firewalls (Filtering, NAT, Port Forwarding, SNAT) Network Management Systems.
