Solar & Net Metering

A gentleman named Jun called me today. He's putting in, or thinking
about putting in, a residential solar panel and wanted to know what are
the prospects of getting net metering from Meralco.

I don't know. He pointed me to San Diego Gas & Electric's FAQ on net

scroll down to the Frequently Asked Questions section.

This is really clear. It's really simple. And good policy.

So ... is net metering available here in the Philippines? Has the ERC
taken up this issue? Is in on the agenda at all?
