Hi,

It was my oversight to get have Chau put this on the agenda for tonight's meeting, so I apologize in advance for this.

After my research, I found a few resources that would be useful for our organization.  The main one is nonprofitoregon.org, which a resource for all nonprofits in the state of Oregon.  They have memberships to be involved and also use their website as a hub to disseminate information about helpful organizations, resources, workshops, etc for organizations throughout Oregon. Here is information on webinars off of the Non Profit Oregon website.  Most of these webinars are free or reduced fees if you are a member to Non Profit Oregon and helpful to anyone that would like to learn how to be a more productive board member to a nonprofit organization:  https://www.nonprofitoregon.org/training_convening/online_learning

They also offer many nonprofit workshops and trainings. Here is the website link that explains the benefits of being a member of Nonprofit Oregon: https://www.nonprofitoregon.org/member-benefits

Membership dues are based on budget size:

Less than $50,000$35
$50,001-100,000$75
$100,001-250,000$125
$250,001-500,000$175
$500,001-1,000,000$225
$1,000,001-$5,000,000$275
Over $5,000,000$400

Oregon Volunteers! is a nonprofit that offers paid workshop that I think could be really beneficial to our organization.  They provide training workshops in a number of pertinent topics and can tailor a training to fit a nonprofit's needs.  Here is their website that gives information about their organization:

http://www.oregonvolunteers.org/

Here is the website that details their volunteer management training and why this training would be helpful to our organization:

http://www.oregonvolunteers.org/volunteer/training/

Below you can see the rates for volunteer management training 101.  As you can see if we were to partner with AAFO in this training, we would receive a 20% discount on the rate:

I also found a website that compiles completely free Webinars (you can also search for paid, etc).  From my understanding you use their search engine to find training sessions, then just sign up.  Here is the website for that resource (The link that I pasted already has a search in place with the tags xFree xWebinar xNonProfit Webinars):

Let me know if you have any questions.  I think that we will have more to discuss when we meet in December.  I will make sure that this gets put on the agenda.

Thank you,
--
