Jodi:

Since no one older than me called you on your inappropriate behavior that has damaged the reputation of the Council, I am doing so now, as the President of the Council and as a mother figure that will not allow this kind of tantrum behavior to go unchecked.  This issue will not be swept under the rug. Not on my watch.

The reach of this email is limited, as this is Council business solely and it is an embarrassment to air our dirty laundry to others, in case you are not aware of that.  Your email reached a couple of my tenants who volunteered at Food Court and Kikkoman, who were concerned and wondering what this was all about.

I am ending this term setting our values in the right place.    I call you on that and recommend you think about your error and rectify it for the sake of the morale of the board and leave the term of this board in peace.

Otherwise, I would recommend your resignation, for you have not shown the ability nor capacity to handle pressure with sensibility or grace.  Serving the Asian Council is not a glamour job, as you might have imagined it to be.  What assurance do we have that you will not break again and wreak more damage if you continue on to the new board?  Moreover, you are a disappointment to your peers for being so malicious and underhanded in your attack.  It is hard to talk about this, but at this point, I am the point person to handle this.  Our Council needs people who are made of stronger stuff and better temperament who know what good sportsmanship is.
You have failed our Council!

I am ready to leave my position, so whatever you did is actually a blessing for more fun time. But for the sake of house-keeping, as we close our books, we right the wrongs.  You have so wronged me personally, and one day soon, I hope you get your come 'uppins that will remind you that it is not OK to do what you did to anyone for that matter, most especially, to an organization that thrives on reputation of sharing the culture and heritage.    Did you even ever stop to think how you would feel if this were done to your daughter?

I do not trust you to keep accurate records when it pertains to me because of your anger. But please do so for the sake of the organization whose oath you swore to.

Attached is my response to your accusations, answered by paragraph.

I have said my peace.  Like I said in the emergency board meeting when I praised everyone for their individual talents, you have the gift of creativity.  Use it wisely...for good... before it gets taken away from you.

Sincerely,
Marvy Schuman
