Asian Council Board meeting and Elections

Dear Board,

In conjuction with Misa's email, here is the new proposed meeting time :

DATE : Monday March 9, 2015

TIME : 5:30PM 

PLACE : 990 Garfield St Eugene, OR 97402

Agenda to follow.

Please send Misa your nominations before March 1st.

This will be the last Board meeting of the current board and nominations for the new Board. 

The new Board will be sworn in at the Appreciation Dinner in April. Time and venue TBA

Thank you, Misa Joo for keeping us all aligned and thank you everyone for your continued hard work and dedication.

Ardyn,

Can you clarify the process for me. Does Misa follow up with nominees to ensure they have granted approval for their name to be placed on the ballot or do we as board members need to get approval from the nominee before sending the names to Misa. 

The only reason I ask is because last year I was nominated, but my name did not appear on the ballot.

Hi Carrie,

My understanding is that we submit the nominees to Misa and the Board votes them in. I think your name was not on the ballot because you were already part of the Board. Or it was an oversight. Misa, can you please clarify?
