Wish you all doing well. Anyhow, Asian American Pacific Islanders Social
Worker Educators Association (AAPISWEA) will be meeting at CSWE and they
have asked me to lead a mentorship program for them. I'm thinking our
group can work with them together as it's all about supporting API
scholars, faculty and doctoral students. Their annual meeting will be
held on Oct 27 (Thursday) from 2:30-4:30pm. Please come if you can.
If not, let's get together on Oct 29 (sat) from 5:30-7pm. Patrick and
other API faculty will be there as well so that we can begin some
networking and mentoring activities. We can meet in a hotel suite that
my college has for the search interview purpose. However, I won't know
the suite until tomorrow when I arrive at Atlanta. Will e-mail you all
the place soon.
I understand that many of us have already sent your information to
Patrick earlier this year pertaining to the mentoring activities. I've
again attached a form just for those who are interested in participating
in this mentoring program but have not sent your info. to Patrick
earlier this year.
Also, please feel free to invite other API doctoral students and faculty
to join us.
Look forward to seeing many of you again at Atlanta.
