Hello Dr. Lee,

I have a question on the eligibility criteria to submit for the proposal. I have left a message to Dr. YUen but have not heard back.

Maybe you can answer and help
Clarify. I can call you if you prefer.

Thank you.

Hi All,
I am not sure if this is the correct forum, but I seriously need some help in a child sexual abuse (incest) case. My cousin and his wife live in Singapore and they have written the following message:

The domestic helper at our house is from Philippines and has a young 15 year old daughter who she has left in the care of her mother. Her husband though has been able to get to her(and his) daughter and has been sexually assaulting her. The girl is now pregnant and the whole family is devastated. She is from a relatively small town and my google searches for an NGO are not yielding results. I am wondering if you have any suggestions or thoughts on possible steps? Also, any advice on how our helper should handle this situation with her daughter will be very helpful!

Can anybody who has connections with Philippines help or direct me in the right direction?

Any tips will be appreciated!
Thanks,

Dr. Bhandari,

I think there is a child abuse hotline in placed in the Philippines. I will get that information to you as soon as I confirm.
Take care.
