In addition, there is a discussion about mentors providing initial
reviews of manuscripts or grants for mentees. The suggestion was
initiated by Dr. Jini Roby and very well-received when I brought
this up at the CSWE gathering. Attached is an updated list of API
Mentoring Group with contact information (sheet 1) and research
interests (sheet 2) of our members. Please feel free to identify
appropriate mentors in your areas and feel free to connect with them
for help in reviewing your scholarships or other issues as listed.
As a courtesy, please first contact the identified colleagues and
get their agreement prior to sending In addition, peer review is
greatly encouraged. However, aPlease make helpful use of the list
for the following purposes:
- Publications
- Grant proposal
- Job search
- Tenure
- Navigating career path
We do hope that we can help each other in establishing and further
strengthening our scholarship.
See you all at 2013 CSWE in Dallas.
Stay well.
Dr. Lee
