1. The California State University, Long Beach, School of Social Work is currently searching for  two tenure-track positions
2. The Center for Race and Social Problems (University of Pittsburgh) currently has a call for papers for a special issue on Asian Americans.  The deadline is 10/15.

Dear API members, friends and colleagues,

Following our tradition, this year's APISWEA annual meeting will be on Thursday, October 31 from 1:30pm - 4:30 pm in Dallas, TX, just before the start of CSWE APM.

In the meeting, you will hear the progress reports from our mentoring program, international conference program and the Okura Mental Health Scholarship.  The 2012-13 Okura scholarship recipients will also present their research projects.

Please plan your trip to attend our meeting.  Your support and participation will make our community strong!
