Call for Applications: CSWE 2014 APM Student Travel Scholarships

Cycle Closes: 11:59 pm (ET) on Monday, September 15, 2014
CSWE is pleased to offer three student travel scholarships to CSWE student members wishing to attend the 2014 Annual Program Meeting (APM) in Tampa, FL, October 2326. One BSW student, one MSW student, and one PhD student will receive a complimentary student registration and $700 to assist with travel expenses. The application cycle opens today, August 25, 2014, and will close at 11:59 pm (ET) on Monday, September 15, 2014. Learn more about this scholarship here.

Eligibility
Each applicant must meet the following eligibility requirements:
· Have an active CSWE student membership in September 2014 at the time of the application
· Be a full- or part-time BSW, MSW, or PhD student as of October 2014 (students who graduate before this date are not eligible to apply)
· Be recommended by a social work faculty member from his or her current program
· Agree to provide a testimonial of his or her experience at APM, if selected
How To Apply
- Students must complete an online application. That process includes uploading both a scholarship application form and a letter of recommendation from a faculty member.
- Active CSWE student membership is required. Complete a new membership application or renew your membership before submitting your application.
Important Dates
· Applications will be accepted from August 25, 2014, until 11:59 pm (ET) on Monday, September 15, 2014. Applications submitted after the September 15 deadline will not be considered.
· Award notifications will be made the week of September 29.
Selection and Award Process
· Applications will be reviewed and winners selected by a subcommittee of the Council on Conferences and Faculty Development.
· Awards will be provided to winners at APM. Students will be responsible for making their own travel arrangements and accommodations.
