Hello Codemonkeys!

Does anyone have experience working with the Windows subsystem for Linux, and/or a good understanding of Docker containers?

I've managed to set up Docker Desktop (i.e. for Windows) so that it is accessible from WSL, and I can run programmes within containers via WSL, but I'm struggling with a few things.

- where are my WSL Docker container data located, if searching through Windows Explorer? I can't find the folder indicated within Docker's settings and I suspect it is within the /Users/Administrator folder (I'm running WSL as root) but I can no longer access this through Windows (Admin rights removed). Is there any way of checking without bothering my work's IT people?

- I have a programme running in a container, with a dependency running in a different container. After closing both containers and restarting them again, the main programme gives me error messages. I only know how to get started again by deleting both containers, redownloading the dependency, and rebuilding the main programme. I'm looking for some insights please!

Much love from Guildford - ( I really do miss Edinburgh :( )
