यान्तादेश-वान्तादेश-सन्धेः अपेक्षा पूर्वरूप-सन्धेः प्राधान्यम् अधिकं किम्?
Does yantadesh-vantadesh-sandhi take precdence over purbarupa-sandhi?

ते + अत्र = तयत्र अपि भवितुं शक्यते?
Is this also possible?

पूर्वरूपसन्धिः यान्तादेशवान्तादेशसन्धेः बाधकः। अतः यत्र पूर्वरूपसन्धिः तत्र यान्तादेशवान्तादेशसन्धिः न भवति।

एचोऽयवायावः-इत्यस्य सूत्रस्य क्रमाङ्कः (6'1'78) | तथापि तत्पश्चादस्ति सूत्रम् एङ: पदान्तादति (6'1'109) | 

यतः "विप्रतिषेधे परं कार्यम् (1'4'2)" इति अष्टाध्याय्याः परिभाषा, अतः (6'1'109) इति सूत्रमेव कार्यम् | 

"ते+अत्र" इत्यत्र पदान्ते एङ् अस्ति तत्परे अत् अपि अस्ति | अतः "एकः पूर्वपरयोः (6'1'84)" इति सूत्रमधिकृत्य पूर्वरूपे यः एङ् स एव कार्यः |

The सूत्रम् एचोऽयवायावः stands at (6'1'78). But later on we have सूत्रम् एङ: पदान्तादति at (6'1'109). Since the convention परिभाषा of अष्टाध्यायी is "in the instance of a dilemma, do the latter "विप्रतिषेधे परं कार्यम् (1'4'2)", only (6'1'109) is to be followed in this instance of "ते+अत्र", because we do have here पदान्ते एङ् and also have अत्. When we have two vowels ए and अ, only one is to be retained as per the अधिकारसूत्रम् "एकः पूर्वपरयोः (6'1'84)". In this instance only ए in ते, which is पूर्वरूप is to be retained. When पूर्वरूप is retained, it is called as पूर्वरूपसंधिः.
