ICV Calculation

Hello,

I've been processing subfield data through both FreeSurfer and ASHS. While I understand each method is unique, and used very different algorithms for estimation, I was wondering if the group could briefly describe how ICV is calculated in ASHS, and how it compares to values output in FreeSurfer. Also, which image those values are calculated on (i.e. T1 or TSE), but presumably the T1.
