phone and internet connections

Apart from all the other shopping details which we will pick your
brains for later, can the guys who are already there (Masato, Sandro,
Tanya) update us on the procedure to get a sim card/phone connection
and a internet connection?

Is it 1-2-3, or a complex process? Can the connections be activated in
a day? Just wanted to know the extent to which I would be unreachable
and the duration.

Pardon the spelling mistakes, but it's just 6 in the morning and I
just woke up and can hardly keep my eyes open.

Ravi,

Sim card I picked up from the airport-pre-paid. Internet connections checking out today and will let you know COB today.

Remainder of the info I will forward within the next 72 hours as I plan to be sleeping in my apartment by then:)

BTW the snow is absolutely beautiful...
