Hello everyone.
I would like to take this opportunity to say hello and also to
apologise for not getting in touch with some of you for your Pre-MBA
career/project discussion. Not to worry - I will attempt to get in
touch with all of you before the 18th but if for some reason we do not
get to speak, please do not be alarmed, as I can assure you we will
have plenty of opportunities to work together throughout the year and
beyond!

I will also be at Ashridge on Saturday 9th January during the MBA-in-a-
Day and look forward to meeting some of then.

Glad to see that some of you will be meeting socially before the
programme commences and in Berkhamsted there are a few pubs that have
always been firm favourites with the MBAs. On the HIgh Street you will
find Magoos Restaurant/Pub - often with live music over weekends -
also The George Pub (can be a bit crowded) and then there is The Boat,
next to canal, a bit further away from the High street but still
within walking distance of the town - that is hugely popular.

I have lived in Berkhamsted for 7 years so if anyone needs any local
information about schools, nurseries, doctors, dentists, churches,
garages .... you name it, please feel free to ask me, and I will be
happy to help where I can or point you towards someone who will be
able to help.

The snow is thick around here so please ensure you check your travel
arrangements if you are planning to come here within the next few
days.

Best wishes and welcome to the Ashridge MBA Programme - it is going to
be a fantastic year!

Ilze Zandvoort
Associate MBA Director
