I’ a voting member of ASHRAE 90.1, the energy code.

If you know anyone who could provide expertise to a working group regarding elevator energy use, please let me know. I have about 7 people, but few are true elevator representatives; and I’d like to have representation from the major manufacturers.

Thank you,

Jeff, the “KONE Jeffs” may be able to help you, or direct you to a helpful party.  I had some preliminary discussions about energy performance of their product offerings at some local USGBC meetings.

David

Jeff: Our Campus has contracts with Schlinder, Otis, and Thyssen
Krupp for our various elevators. I'm not sure how much help the
service groups will be on this issue, but I'll give it a try. I'll
keep you posted if it goes anywhere.

Thanks Ron.
I got a few other contacts too, so hopefully one of them will rise to
the right people.
