Dear CTTC Chairs and Chapter Presidents,
Welcome to the new society year and congratulations on taking over the position of CTTC Chair & Chapter Presidents.
For all of you who are new in the position, I am the Regional Vice Chair (RVC) CTTC and will be responsible for managing the Distinguished Lecturer (DL) allocations to the Chapters.
The Region at Large (RAL) have 11 approved DL allocations and the guidelines for availing them are as follows:
1 . Since we have 24 chapters in RAL and only 11 DL allocations, hence it is preferred that each Chapter must join hands with other Chapters nearby to jointly apply for the DL. The preference will be given by me for multi chapter visits as this will ensure that all Chapters are benefited.
2. The DL request must be made to me under copy to tcatc...@ashare.org and rdou...@ashrae.org. Please use the enclosed DL request form or download the same from the DL webpage: http://www.ashrae.org/membership--conferences/distinguished-lecturer-program.
3. The CTTC Chair of the Chapter may go to the above DL webpage and check the names of DL as well as the topics. Once you have shortlisted then approach the DL for its availability and also neighbouring chapters to co-host. After the confirmation from DL, send the attached duly filled-in form to me.
I would urge you to start planning for the year.
