This Saturday, June 6 at 10:30 a.m., the Ashland Bike Club has scheduled its very scenic Tour de Holliston ride (now version VI). We’ll meet in the Exchange Street lot in downtown Holliston, Ma.

The Weather
The forecast for Saturday is calling for a warm, breezy day.  Temps should range between 83 and 88 degrees with warm but comfortable dry air under partly cloudy skies. Rain is forecast for Saturday night but that will not affect our ride.

Saturday’s Ride
ABC’s Tour de Holliston is a route that goes up and down and all around many different sections of Holliston with brief visits to Sherborn and Medway. The scenery throughout this ride is excellent and it even includes a couple of runs on the Holliston section of the Upper Charles Trail.  A post-ride lunch in downtown Holliston is a possibility.

There Ain’t No Airports in Framingham, But …
The Logan Express Bus from Framingham to Logan has always been the best way to get there for us Metrowesters. It’s cheap, you don’t have to deal with traffic and tolls, and you don’t have to worry about parking. That’s especially true since they built a mega-garage at the bus stop.

But now, they have made flying even more convenient.  With the latest change, you can now avoid the airport TSA hassle, too.

The eyes have It … but not just yet
Apparently, there have been a bunch of near-sighted rabbits hopping around. Who knew?

Researchers have been working on a new non-surgical procedure that might someday replace Lasik surgery.

But, as the saying goes, “seeing is believing”. Don’t count on this experimental procedure being ready for primetime anytime soon.
