Thank you to all of you who came to town meeting tonight.  It was probably one of the larger attended meetings with 334 voters voting on the broadband article.  The article passed with an 84% majority - 279 yes and 59 no - well above the required 2/3.

minor correction, it was 275 yes, 82%.

We just got back from voting and the count was 390 votes cast so far.  I think that’s a little low for a controversial issue.  I’m a bit scared we could still lose this, on the grounds that it’s a whole lot easier to stop by and vote than it is to attend a long meeting.   I’m hoping I’m paranoid.  But polls are open until 8.
