Recent Verizon stories?

Tamara and I are about to sell her old house.  (Knock on wood!!)  It is located close enough to the village that there is DSL.  But we and the buyers are afraid that DSL might be lost when we transfer the Verizon account because of a queue of people waiting for availability from a limited number of DSL "slots".

Years back there was a lot of problems with DSL access and many people called me looking for help.  But I haven't heard any horror stories recently.

Anybody aware of recent attempts to get DSL in town?  Were there wait times or any other problems?

I've setup a few DSL links in the past few weeks. CO is currently open.

[Hilltown Networks can provide DSL using the Verizon system. If the buyers are interested, I'd be happy to discuss options and pricing. If they are particularly concerned, they could just order service in their name now and wait to turn off your service until the new order is complete.]

Once Apple Valley is up and running, I may have an opportunity to repeat up to that location as well.
