This is the First Matrix Game of the season against a good team. We would like to invite all of the Family, Friends, Fans of the Club to join us.
There is no alcohol permitted at Carrier Park and any person violating these rules will be ask to leave. We will not be able to use this field if we do not follow the rules. After party will have plenty at Westville Pub off Haywood. Everyone is responsible for looking after the club's well being.
This game is dedicated to Helpmate, Inc. We will be selling two jerseys from a special set of jerseys donated by Westville Pub. All proceeds and donations collected will be donated in the following week. Please contact Figgy to reserve you jersey or make a donation.
Description of the Organization
Helpmate, Inc. (Helpmate) is a nonprofit agency providing assistance to victims of domestic violence. The organization’s three primary program areas are as follows:
1. Crisis Stabilization – Includes operating a temporary emergency shelter and a 24-hour crisis line, and providing case management and counseling for victims of domestic abuse.
2. Court Advocacy – Helping clients navigate the civil and criminal court systems while advocating on their behalf.
3. Prevention – Carrying out public awareness and education programs about domestic violence.
Funding
Helpmate is funded primarily by government grants and contracts, the United Way of Asheville-Buncombe County and contributions from the public.
There will also be a B-side game. Friends, Old boys, and role players bring your boots and test your wheels against some FNG's. Everyone can play. Please participate with the club and show your support. Make your self available and help the club when they need you most. We have several matches this season and they may need you most in the playoffs.
