Howdy ya'll.

Attached is my second revision of a potential mural design for the wall directly opposite the door of the makerspace. Thank you Steve for sending me the SVG file of the logo, beaucoup helpful.

Would appreciate any and all feedback.

If we have positive sentiment among the membership, my plan would be to paint it over 2-3 days (June 19-21). Assistance with paining, especially on June 20, would be appreciated.

Also, if anyone has a projector I could borrow for this project, it will make the work much easier :)

Cheers,

Gustav

I like it, and we already have a projector down at the space that a member has let us borrow. Thanks!

Alright ya'll, final update before I start painting this weekend. Would love your help, and I think it should be fun! Just a few quick hits and questions:

- Do we still have any of the white used to paint the wall originally? Would be handy to have available to cover pencil marks and in case of any brush slips. Also will need some white to mix colors.
- I'll buy paints, dropcloths, and brushes today. Paint will be matte acrylic/latex enamel. Cost will likely be $150-200 for everything and I'll chat with Steve about reimbursement.
- I will have to move everything under the mural area (see photo, mural araea in yellow), but 3d printers should still be usable, just temporarily a little awkwardly placed. I'll take down the shelves but not the brackets (which are screwed into the wall)

- Work days:
- Friday: I'll be there from roughly 10am - 6pm. The first 4 hours or so will be moving stuff, projecting, outlining, and taping, probably which is the most boring bit, and probably a one or maybe two person job. After 2pm or so, extra hands would be particularly helpful.
- Saturday: Planning for Saturday morning from 9am - 1pm. Hopefully we can get everything finished by then. If not, I'll come back Sunday morning and wrap up.
- Sunday: TBD

Finally, big thanks to Chabuku for lending his projector, and thanks to all for your thoughts and feedback.

Whoop whoop,

Gustav Cappaert

I can probably stop by on Friday around 1-2pm for a few hours.
